John & Victoria chose The Old Lodge in Malton, North Yorkshire for their June wedding. They hoped for an outdoor ceremony within the grounds but unfortunately it had drizzled all morning. Victoria looked beautiful in her 50s style tea length wedding dress with statement shoes and wild flower bouquet!
Thankfully the sun came out just in time for the ceremony which was held inside the intimate room with a balcony to ensure all guests had a great view of proceedings. Her sister was bridesmaid and also had the honour of walking Victoria down the aisle. John wore a cravat and had his brother as best man helping to calm his nerves!
Wild flowers in miss match vintage style jam jars tied with lace and hessian colourfully decorated the room! Confetti was tossed and drinks flowed as the reception drinks and canapés were served in the garden after the intimate ceremony.
Outdoor entertainment included a photo booth hanging in the trees before guests were seated for the wedding breakfast. Vintage style cases kept cards tidy, a finger print guest book alternative for well wishes along with drinks vouchers as favours were some of the details chosen by Victoria & john.
Tears and laughter in equal measures filled the room during the speeches! The beautiful cake topped with wild flowers was cut with a sword before the couple danced the night away!
